So I am still in search of a makeup routine that will look flawless for at least 5-6 hrs before it begins to dull up and I need to retouch.

I sometimes have a grease ball face and sometimes it's combo, so I will ask for two different suggestions per category catering to oily skin, and one for combo skin.

(Please recommend a primer, foundation, setting powder, setting spray that cater to oily skin, and suggestions that solely cater to combo skin)

Primers:
Oily skin: Need it to help control an oily face.
Combo skin: Help keep my oily t-zone at a minimum, meanwhile it also hydrates some dry areas on the sides of my face and around my nose.

(If you suggest a certain primer paired with a particular foundation for either oily skin, or combo, please let me know)

Concealer:
Enough pigment to cover hyperpigmentation and dark scars

Foundation:
Make sure it is full coverage and helps cover redness for about 4-6 hours before touching up as well as it not being too oily for skin but just right for a combo skin gal.

Setting powder:
Make sure that the setting powder doesn't disrupt my foundation by making it slip off in or making it look patchy after application (s).

Setting spray:
When needed, I hope it doesn't leave me looking like a grease ball and doesn't agitate my makeup
I definitely want a setting spray, or something to ensure no slip, smudge, and will prolong the wear of my makeup.

Sorry that it's a lot to ask for, but I'm tired of trying wayyy too many foundations and primers and powders, yet no true satisfying result. In addition to this madness, I would like to let you ladies know what foundation, primers, setting powders, concealers, and setting sprays I own to see if you'd suggest a certain primer, powder or anything to ensure longevity of my makeup.

I own:

Primers:
-Rimmel's Fix & Perfect Pro and Stay Matte Primer
-La Base Pro by Lancome Primer (I've tried hourgass veil primer and did not like it)

Concealer:
-Almay Complexion
-MUFE Waterproof Full Coverage Concealer

Foundations:
-Makeup Forever Mat Velvet +
-Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Makeup
-Becca Ultimate Coverage Foundation
-Mac's Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation
-Kat Von D Lock It Foundation
( I've tried Estee Lauder DW a numerous of times and no correct skin tone color)/:

Powders:
-Rimmel's Stay Matte
-Laura Mercier pressed Setting powder

Setting spray:
-NYX matte spray
-Kat Von D setting mist

If you guys also recommend a certain application to ensure full coverage of makeup, by all means let me know(:. Thank you for reading this essay cx. Sorry guys. lol

So I have very oily skin and this has been the best combo for me personally so far. I don't use primer because everything just seems to make my face more oily and it doesn't sit right. I experienced ok results with Hourglass, but not enough to rebuy. I use Estée Lauder DW foundation - but like you mentioned, it's hard to find a good shade especially if you're oily and it tends to change. But it's the most long wearing foundation I've found. For concealer I use MAC because it's thick but doesn't apply cakey. I set my foundation with MFE mate velvet or just the regular HD setting powder. I really feel that's a must for me in getting long wear. Throughout the day, I use MAC face power to touch up and keep the matte look. Also, I find drinking LOTS of water throughout the day keeps my skin way less oily. And for the foundation tones, try to get another brand to cut in and customize your colour. Also, I apply foundation with a damp beauty blender, it always gives me a nice coverage without getting cakey and using too much of the product.

Ugh. That's what sucks about oily skin/:. And I did like how Estee Lauder DW felt on my face but it was frustrating not finding the right shade. But like you said, I should consider customizing it to match my color, but I don't know where to begin bc I really don't want to purchase two Estee Lauder DW foundations and if I look into purchasing another foundation, I don't know what ingredients to search for to make sure it matches the formula within Estee Lauder DW's foundation.

Is that the order of your makeup routine?{:
And is the beuaty blender the only tool you use to apply your makeup?

And I drink so much water lol.
Just like you, I do feel as though primers only get more oily x:

This kinda sounds like a skin issue than a makeup fix. I do suggest taking evening primrose oil capsules. I've been on the 500 Mg for 2 months now. It's a natural supplement that balances hormones. If you're a young woman like me, that's crucial for my skin. It helps my skin, my mood and PMS. I used to have greaseball skin but it dramatically cut my oil production. I'm more combo skin now. (Just my nose is oily.) and lessen breakouts. It can't hurt to try it. I got it from GNC.

Also, baking your T zone with translucent powder helps too. Ben nye neutral set is my HG!

Also neutrogena hydro boost is the best moisturizer I've used for oily skin. Controls my oil as well. Only con is that it's $20 😭

I agree, evening primrose rose oil Is use for hormonal balancing as well as liquid fish oil is a perfect combination to take with it as both benefits the skin.

You may not need to use EL to customize. Maybe just another not so expensive just to change the tone a bit. I only use a damp beauty blender to apply foundation and I find it makes all the difference.

Always use toner because it helps to reduce oil and helps keep your makeup looking less shiny and more matte.
