Hey everyone! So after some research and self-reflectment I decided I was going to go cruelty free. This is a big step for me considering MUFE is one of my fav brands, but my ego is worth more. What are your opinions? What are your fav cruelty free brands?!

I suggest checking out Kristen Leanne on YouTube as she's gone cruelty free as well. She uses a ton of Urban Decay, Kat Von D, and NYX (:

What a great idea! I wish I had the courage to do that but because my troubled skin is so bad and picky I'm unable too! I try my best to use as many cruelty free products as possible! Nyx is a great and affordable brand which I depend on a lot and have a lot of good feedback on! Their bb cream is my favourite!

My favorite brands (I'm cruelty free) are Kat von D, Lorac, Urban Decay, NYX, Wet n Wild, theBalm, Too Faced, and Milani. Just to let you know, L'Or?al is NOT cruelty free. They trick their customers into thinking they are, but they ARE NOT. They sell in China. Keep in mind, a lot of brands will still have a parent company that tests on animals even though the brand itself does not. I personally think it's important to show the parent company there is a need for cruelty free products by still supporting the subbrand, but do your research :)

Hmmm...my question now is within the second half of their answer.
Here is a great tool by PETA that makes finding what works for your personal choices best.

Molly, Loreal is the parent company of NYX and Urban Decay. Just sharing the info. The Loreal Corporate website lists all of their companies if you are interested.

I've been dabbling in cruelty free/vegan skincare for awhile. Its been an adventure though because some stuff has not been very kind to my skin while others had poor performance. Good for you on making the switch.

Kyla, big companies definitely notice when a cruelty-free (start to finish) brand has a loyal customers base. You can keep supporting those divisions, but write the C.E.O and cc Customer Relations online and let them know why you aren't patronizing their other products, while encouraging them to expand in the direction of your favorites. The power of the pen shall hopefully prevail. Good luck!

@Rozberry I actually did write an email to a company! I know that I won't make all the difference but at least I know that I'm not supporting these awful things anymore.
