Bras for decent lift.

Ever since I've gone up to a D cup size, I've been a little embarrassed of my big breasts. I can't help but feel exposed whenever I wear a fitted top, I always feel compelled to wear something loose and hide my curves. I think it's time I just start embracing it and work with what I've got instead of hiding it, time to put my sports bras away and get a decent bra that will make my breasts appear a little perkier and nicer when I wear my fitted shirts. Any suggestions? Please no padded bras, I accidentally bought one when I was like 11 or 12 and those are just painful for me.

The BODY BY VICTORIA line is really comfy with slightly padded straps so they feel soft on your shoulders. Most of Victoria's Secret Bras are padded, the Body By Victoria DEMI is not padded. You have to be careful because they sell another BODY bra that is the exact same shape & style that is fully padded. The Demi does have an underwire whichever is effective for support and lift esp. if you're "girls" are on the larger size. But the BODY line really does a good job of padding the underwire so they're not as uncomfortable as most underwire bras. Also, if you don't already know this, Victoria's Secret Bras have a reputation of running small. So you may or may not need a DD.

I'm not sure whether this is a store that's available worldwide, but bravissimo/pepperberry is an amazing store which is specialised on women with a bigger chest. it's the only place where I've found a bra that actually fits perfectly. They haven't got the biggest selection but definitely some bras that aren't padded.

Embrace your curves! don't feel embarrassed at all.
I definitely know how you feel though about when wearing a fitted shirt.
my chest has always been on the bigger side and I always had issues finding a comfortable bra.
Surprisingly, I found one that I love in Target. It's from the brand Bali and it's called a "t-shirt" bra. it's quite comfortable and it covers.

I'm a 32dd and at first I was very self conscious about my big size too. I went to Nordstrom and the girl there helped me for like an hour until she found me the perfect bra that solved all my problems.
I would suggest making the trip.
