Hi Tanya, I'm in year 9 at an Australian school. And instead of attending school I go off to TAFE one day a week instead. The course goes until I finish school so another 3 years. After the three years I come out qualified (i think that was the wrong spelling, sorry). I was just wondering what you ment when you said i would have to get into the union? thanks so much, i really appreciate your help!!

If you are near an Ulta Beauty I would look into that store/salon! They are growing as an industry extremely fast and the training you can do is incredible! I currently work there as a stylist in the salon...and I don't plan on leaving there anytime soon! They are fantastic!
Hope this was helpful! And please ask any questions if you have any!

Hi Chelsea, I'm Emily and I am a professional hairstylist! I went to a cosmetology school shortly after graduating from high school...it was a fantastic experience that you will love and learn from! When I graduated it didn't take long to find a job/career! But my advice to you is start doing your research! Look up different salons and make a pro and con list! You will want to find a salon or store that will offer you benefits, good pay, and will pay your your extra training you may need!

I'm doing a hair/makeup/beauty course this year as I'm still only in highschool. But I was wondering if it was difficult to get into these kind of jobs?
