So at the moment being, I have a semi-golden balayage on my hair and contemplating on whether or not to go back to black.

I love both but it was so expensive and troublesome to achieve the color I have.

I spent about 200 on my balayage ( the first session) and 150 on the second one. Now I'm just wondering on what to consider or do.

Any suggestions?

Both are beautiful, but I prefer your black hair on you! :) It compliments your features very well!

I think black with some chocolate or maybe a reddish lowlight or baylayge, instead of just a solid black color to help give some dimension. It will be so much easier to manage since your natural color is dark and blonde is hard to upkeep. See I have the same (well technically opposite) problem as you, I naturally have a dark blonde color and for the last 7 years have been going dark, and it is such a pain to keep up with and my hair fades faster than most peoples, so I was constantly coloring mine every 4-6 weeks to hide my blonde roots; but now that I've finally starting going back lighter it is so much easier to manage! And I'm not spends $100s of on my hair every few weeks!

Omg Lisa you are a life saver!! I love the balayage and the black. I might grow out my balayage and get the blonde to a redish brown like in the pic 😁😁😁

Keeping up in the blonde is a drag lol
