I was supposed to get my eyebrows threaded today after like two months, but my appointment got cancelled. I have a ceremony at school this week and I wanted them done by then...
So basically I have to do them myself. My hair is very thick and it hurts a ton when I tweeze but now I have to. What are some tips to get a nice natural shape and lessen the pain?

I used to pluck my own eyebrows for years! I found the easiest way was to fill them in the shape I wanted and pluck whatever was on the outside.
As for the pain, since you haven't gotten them done in a long while it'll honestly hurt and there's not much to do about it. The best thing to do is pluck out in the direction the hair grew as quickly as possible.

I personally would be too scared to do my brows myself lol why not just go to another threading salon?

For the pain I heard that you can put a numbing cream or some of that numbing liquid you put on your tooth when you have a toothache on the area that you're plucking to make it hurt less.

Try cold ice before and after plucking , it'll still hurt but a tad less I would suggest you just to clean under the tail just the few hairs that grew and clean on top on the tail if you want a cleaner look but it's optional.

I'm broke so I've been plucking my brows for years (I can't remember the last time I got them done). I recommend doing them right when you get out of a hot shower. The steam opens up your pores and makes it easier to pluck the hair with minimal pain.
