So, I have been gaining a few pounds. I don't lime the look of it and I'm really trying to eat somewhat healthy

but after getting a job and spending all my money on food, I think I'm just going to lower my eating habits and raise my clothing styles

so the real question is, how do I look slimmer in clothes that I already have? is there a diy waist cincer? or is there anything I can wear differently?

You can always wear body shapers that you can buy at target, walmart, etc. But you should focus on the smallest part of your waist by wearing belts and shirts that accentuate that area.

What's your body shape?
If you dress in styles that suit your shape you'll look and feel better immediately.
Hope this helps!😬

How old are you? I'm only asking because it's a bit odd (as well as dangerous) if girls who are, say 13, are asking about waist cinchers. Your bones (especially your ribs) are incredibly malleable when you're a child and teenager and there is a risk of pushing them in closer.
Darker clothing is always good, and try clothes which fit properly and suit your body shape.
If you have a large bust, I'd suggest tighter fitting tops as I find loose fitting (I'm a 38DD bra size) can make you look bigger as the top 'floats' on top of your boobs and normally doesn't hug the waist or stomach, thus making you look bigger.
I also love high waisted jeans with a zip instead of a button on the top as the weight of the zip and material flattens the stomach. A good-fitting pair of skinny jeans will help to.
Overall, make sure you know your body shape and wear clothes that work to its advantage.

If you want to know any exercise which can help, I'm a gymnastics coach and can recommend some stuff depending on what you wanted to train :)

Please do not wear a waist trainer! As hannah said they can change the shape of your bones and mess with your organs. I can assure you that a couple extra pounds is not worth the pain that would cause.
