I've been experimenting with my black lippie from WetnWild's Fergie collection with different eye looks. Earlier this week I paired it up with a cranberry smokey eye (I need to perfect that one before I go showing it off) but decided to try for a gold pairing.

The lighting is just plain awful today so I'm not too fond of the pictorial portion but oh well. There is always a next time.

Face: Dior Star foundation in #50 applied with IT Cosmetics Complexion Perfection brush in #115
Set foundation with NARS Light Reflecting Pressed powder using the Cargo Magic brush (I lightly press the powder into the skin versus sweeping it across)
MAC blush in Coppertone (applied it higher up along my cheeks avoiding the apples and sweeping it towards my hairline)
Bobbi Brown concealer duo
Becca Pressed Shimmering Skin Perfector in topaz along the plane of my cheekbones and bridge of nose

Eyes
Urban Decay primer potion (as soon as I use this bad boy up I'm going back to NARS eye primer) on entire lid
MAC eyeshadow in Retrospeck on brow bone
Lorac Pro palette...sable in crease, gold on lid and a mix of espresso and black placed on outer v of lid sweeping it ever so slightly into my lower crease

Wasn't happy with the lack of vibrancy of gold so I applied MAC eyeshadow in goldmine on lid

For my halfway decent winged liner Loreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense was used. It's a felt tip liquid liner and I absolutely love it because it's beginner friendly and it leaves behind a glossy finish.

Loreal Voluminous Mascara for top lashes and bottom lashes received MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash

Lips I lined with MAC lip pencil in night moth (I misplaced my black lip liner) and applied WetnWild Fergie Collection in Pagan Angel straight from the tube.

Next week I'm attending the end of year HOA meeting so I will be trying out a green shimmering eye with a touch of yellow and of course sporting the black lippie. I'm enjoying the shock value the black lipstick has been causing since I started wearing it out and about.

Love it! This look makes you look exotic and mysterious.

I think it's so cool that you're embracing the look of black lips. I have the NYX lippie in black but only wear it on Halloween. I wish I had your courage.
I would love to hear the reactions you get when you attend the HOA meeting lol

Awe thank you ladies. :)

Christine...I love the Cargo Magic brush. At first I wasn't loving it because I using it incorrectly. Once I figured out the right method of use for the product that I exclusively bought it for then I became much happier with it. Now I'm going back and reevaluating all my other brushes and kinda re-educating myself on their use because I really want to get back into experimenting with more complex eye looks.
