Try the loreal luminous foundation, my niece has eczema and it works out for her. It never ever seems to look cakey, she's about to start kindergarten in September so her mom let's her cover up the worst spots. (I help her apply it) and you don't need hardly any powder to set it.

If you apply it with a sponge it looks better than with a stippling brush

Maybe a corrector would help like IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness. You apply a thin layer over your reddness, then apply your foundation over it. Some people use it as a foundation by itself. Its flesh toned with a green undertone as opposed to a straight green corrector. Green counteracts redness. I think applying 1 or 2 thin layers of the correct tones is more effective and looks better than applying 1 thick layer of a neutral shade that doesn't have any redness correcting pigments in it.

I have eczema too & when you're really breaking out you just have to go with out makeup and let it breathe :( but on a daily basis I've found that a heavy green concealer on my red spots over my Mac primer set with smash box or bare minerals (I can't remember which company it is lol) hydrating powder looks more natural than any foundation

I have psoriasis and when my patches show up and I need to cover them with makeup I use a green color corrector under my full coverage concealer by MUFE - this concealer feels so light and looks like skin - it's never cakey yet the coverage is full - I love it - other good concealers are by KVD and dermablend - concealers works better than foundation because the color is more pigmented and concentrated so you can cover a small area with minimal product - but if you need a full coverage foundation I would suggest dermablend and/or the Estée Lauder maximum cover foundation in the blue tube - the dermablend can get cakey on you if you're not careful so always make sure to blend any full coverage product out to reduce the cakey effect.
