Can I dye my hair lighter?

Just wanna hear when I can dye it lighter last time I used dark blond and was told that next time it would get lighter with the same hair dye is that true?

I'm not sure if that is fully true. you can, naturally lighten your hair with
peroxide
baking soda
lemon juice
get it to a paste and apply to your hair. it is quite damaging if you do it too many times

Did you use box dye? 30v developer will lighten 3-4 shades.
