I remember my skin would have the same results. what I did was apply jojoba or coconut oil in the a.m., preferably on a long weekend so that way my skin would be able to repair on its own without irritating it with more makeup. So I would my wear makeup from Fri-Sun and simply wash my face and apply an oil and after letting it sink in, I'd apply an actual mosturizer. I'd repeat the same step Friday night until Sunday night and my skin was very much repaired and feeling better (:. I will also like to say to stay hydrated! Hydration is key for skin improvement (:. You will look more refreshed, bright, and patchless aha. Intake lots of water! Especially if you eat lots of processed, high sodium foods or snacks.

Do you exfoliate often? I used to have a similar problem but I use a face cloth and an exfoliation cream everyday and my foundation goes on a lot smoother. Maybe a blending sponge might be better for you?

I had the same problem with that foundation. I ended up returning it. I used different primers and moisturizers. I applied with different brushes too. I think it's the formula

I apply that same foundation with a beauty blender and I never have any problems! Maybe it's a worth a go?(:

I have the EXACT same problem. I have tried an array of skin care, primers, and foundations. Oh, and beauty blenders and brushes. I can't stop the patchiness. It used to happen on my nose and under my eyes, too, but I started using an eyelid primer (either Urban Decay or Mac Paint Pot) and applying that under my eyes, on my nose, and on my forehead, but on top of a spray primer from Skindinavia. I can't stop the flaky/patchy look on my forehead.
Any more ideas?
