I've always had really bad exema as a child and I hadn't gotten it in a while but it's coming back worse all over my face and it's effecting the way my makeup is going on and it's very itchy but I don't want to itch my face..
Do any of you know a good way to treat exema?

I don't have exema but I do have dermagraphism which gives me bad hives and itching everyday. So, I take allergy medicine at least 1 time a day. I think when you give into the temptation and scratch it is making matters worse and harming your skin. So, I recommend trying to stop the itching and research how to prevent the spread of exema.

For relief I recommend an ice pack on the eczema for a short amount of time, and I also recommend Josie Maran Argan Oil. These won't make it go away but they will help with the itching. A prescription cream will be your best bet. I've tried a lot of creams but my favourite is Betaderm cream that my doctor gave me. My eczema clears up within that same day.

I have eczema and I totally understand what you're going through. Try your very best to not itch. I use a prescribed cream called elidel whenever I get flare ups and it usually clears up within a few days. I also use the Aveeno Eczema care moisturizing cream. Eczema is very stubborn it comes and goes. The key thing is to always keep your skin moisturized and try your hardest not to itch.

I have eczema and I 100% rave about hydrocortisone cream. It is the only thing that clears mine up.

My eczema was bad when I was going through menopause. I took Evening Primrose oil tablets (bought from Holland & Barrett) and this helped me get on top of it. I am not sure that it works for everyone but it certainly won't harm you. Probably a good idea to check with your doctor first.

I agree with Lin, evening primrose has helped a lot of people with eczema. it's also good to break open the capsule and put it directly onto the eczema. of course check with your doctor first.
