Hi girls,
I went into Sephora lastnight and had an employee help pick out which shade in the Anastasia dipbrow would be best for me. She immediately said medium brown. I have cool toned eyebrows that I can NEVER find the right shade for. I did some research online and was thinking maybe Ash brown at first, but I said something to her about it and she said it would be much too dark.. But from the swatches I've seen, it seems lighter?? Hmm. I ended up with the medium brown, but I'm considering going back to purchase the ash brown. Thoughts??

Same thing here! A lot of people think the ash brown or granite colors are darker but they aren't. If anything they look a tad bit lighter to me. I have black cool toned brows so adding a warm color just looks ridiculous. It like having drawn on brows with another color and taking hairs that are a completely different color and sticking them on. When I use the color granite it looks like brows but when I use ebony you can tell they are filled in because of the warmth. I'd go back and totally try out the ash brown in store. You might love it :)

I would go with an ash colored product as well. My eyebrows are also BLACK so ANY warm tones show and it looks atrocious lol. it looks more drawn on than black itself.

I knew I should have went with my gut and tried the ash!! Darn it. That's the same problem I have, everything I put on my brows just looks so silly, like I tried to paint over them with a completely different color. My school pictures look ridiculious because it was before I realized!! Lol. Live and learn!

The medium brown seems to have cool undertones and it doesn't look bad on my brows, I just feel like the color isn't exactly... Right. I don't know. When I put it on it was the closest I've ever gotten to a color that matched, so I was just happy to have it!!

I also agree with trying the ash instead of the medium brown!
