I'am currently 10 weeks pregnant and want to start taking action to prevent the appearance of stretch marks on my belly πŸ™‚ So which creams, oils, etc.are best suited to help decrease stretch marks during pregnancy and does it make sense to start using them this early on? Thank you!

Bio Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, etc.are all great to help with the appearance of stretch marks! My mother used them when she was pregnant with my little sister and they helped tremendously! Xx

Definitely start moisturizing now. The marks start early on and stay for a while.
I'm not pregnant , but my sister was a few times.

Shea butter mixed with coconut oil is good. Sunshine alba from YouTube has great advice regarding this, But genetics is the real culprit, it didn't matter what I did, I still got them.

Congratulations!! I'm at 31 weeks myself, and I started using cocoa butter and bio oil (one in am one in pm) around week 10/11 and I have no stretch marks whatsoever. I also use a grainy scrub on my belly every time I shower to help the moisture sink in better. best of luck dear!

Congrats! I'm 34 weeks with my second little one. I use vitamin E oil religiously! I swear by it. I have no stretch marks on my tummy. πŸ‘πŸ».. But I also believe genetics have a lot to do with it.
Also exercising and eating healthy help, don't use the excuse I'm eating for 2 πŸ˜‚ the quicker your skin stretches the more likely you are to getting them.

The amount of water you drink is also very important.

Yes definitely start now and I had two kids at 17&19 and what I did was.rub tons of cocoa butter in your belly. as your belly stretches it will it so you got to keep it hydrated. I have not 1 stretch mark on my belly and bounced right back in no time.

it will itch**

Everyone above offered great advice. I did all that and then some with my three kids. But also whatever you do...don't scratch if you feel the itchies come on. Just apply and apply some sort of moisturizer.

I tried everything and still got them. mostly genetics has to do with it. you actually tear from the inside out so there's not much you can do. just moisturize all day!! it helps your skin stretch easier :)

Hey am myself 18 weeks.. my mom advised me to use coconut oil mixed with vit e and keep my self hydrated from within. As Shelly said do not itch at all. Most importantly its genetic. All the best :)

I used Bepanthen stretch mark cream it has been around for ages and it works. If you are in the States perhaps Walgreen or similar will have it but if you are in the UK I think Boots and even Tesco stock it.
