What type of skin do you have overall? Is acne or medically patched skin an issue? Also, what is your budget and is your skin sensitive?
What do you currently use?

Miriam, I would never judge you. I use only cool water most mornings myself these days...saving cleanser for evening.

I am a dry gal who often turns to nature for hydration by utilizing facial oils.
I recommend washing at night with CeraVe cleanser..very gentle, inexpensive and fragrance free. Most importantly, it is hydrating. You can find it at Ulta, most drugstores and chainstores. There is a $2 coupon on their website.
This was recommended by my Derm for my dry issues.

For lotion, I recommend their moisturizing cream, which has hyaluronic acid to really tackle those dry areas and leave skin soothed.

The combination of hylauronic acid and glycerin as well as beneficial ceramides make this a gentle, yet effective powerhouse.

Reviews appear below each product. The coupon can be found here. http://www.cerave.com/

If you want a Sephora face wash for once a day, Purity by Philosophy is excellent. Gentle and hydrating. You can get a trial size, which lasts forever since so little product is needed.

I believe Ulta also carries the product.

I think incorporating Sweet Almond Oil and Jojoba into your skincare will help keep your skin glowing and ease patches as well. It is a natural way to add fatty acids and moisture to your complexion and are great for removing make-up as well.
I get mine at Whole Foods or GNC, but any health food store (even Amazon) has them. I use NOW brand for both those oils.
Sephora has Josie Moran Argan Oil, which I also use during the day, in her lite formula. You can get a trial size for $16.

I think my Sweet Almond and Jojoba are far better, as is Apricot Oil and Rosehip...and are more budget friendly and so I have not repurchased the Josie, but it is a good option if you are Sephora specific.

For exfoliating, you can choose between chemical or physical exfoliation. I do both, alternating, but my go-to for years has been Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash. It gently removes flakes while hydrating. Perfect for use just prior to make-up application, yet gentle enough to use without fear of stripping skin or causing microtears. You can get it for $10 in a 4 oz. sample size.

These are products I swear by and have used for years. I could not be without them. Hope that helps and look forward to seeing what works for other members as well.

I use minimal cosmetics on my complexion so I don't know much about contouring or highlighting. I like to brighten with MAC Strobe Cream.

Oh my..how could I forget. My primer for daily use (and also moisturizer if you are Sephora specific) is Embryolisse Lait-creme Concentrate. Very little product is needed. It is mineral oil based, but since acne is not an issue, this is an excellent product. You can prime, moisturize, mix with foundation or use to remove eye make-up. Two sizes are offered.

My pleasure! Yes, the Embryolisse Lait-creme I use as both a moisturizer and as my primer. It saved me all last winter creating a supple, plump complexion. I am not subject to mineral oil sensitivity and since you are clear, most likely this will work very well for you! I live both of my Philosophy washes so much, that I have never run out...in 5 years..lol Adding natural.oils to my skincare has been amazing. I have medically and hormonally dry skin that is now soft and flake free..even though I use Retinoids, which are notorious for causing dryness. I hope you like them and please, keep us updated!

Miss Jacqueline has spoken! She, along with Sandra, a other member, highly recommended it. :)
