So I want to do some more over night sleep in hair styles. My hair is long, thick, shines, and it is blond. I have long layers in the front and my hair is sorta naturally highlighted. Do you guys know any styles or ways to do an overnight cute hairstyle? OH! I have Transaversacolor (a disease) where I can't sleep with my hair wet or it will spread through my skin. It's very visible so if you have any ideas make sure my hair isn't down and wet.

I agree that braids cab give lovely waves. I avoid small sections, opting for medium sized as I don't favor kink style locks.

I love the way my hair turns out when I sleep with flexi rods in. My curls easily last for a couple of days using this method vs when I use a curling iron/flat iron they only last half a day for me if that. Also the headband curls method is easy and more comfortable to sleep in.

Ooh! If you want to curl your hair overnight what worked amazing for me was pulling hair over one shoulder and then splitting into two sections. Then take the two sections and twirl them in the same direction and twist them together in the opposite direction. For example if you twirl them both towards your neck, you would twist them together going away from you. The result gives very pretty curls!
