I tried to go silver and my hair was just like yours, bottom line: I all most really killed it. to get a decent silver, you hair pretty much needs to be about a level 10-12 and thats really hard to get to especially because your hair seems pretty warm toned. I think doing some deep conditioning masks and getting a trim will be great for you :)

I don't think you should do it, I don't even think you should cut it. I think you should go on a complete repair mission. no heat, overcondition, use oils, like coconut and vitamin E, take some vitamins, like biotin, and get a deep condition from your stylist. honestly, I thought mine was done too, but it's healthy now and everyone says they wish they had my hair. hope I helped :)

DONT TAKE BIOTIN OR ANY PILLS/VITAMINS W/O CONSULTING A DOCTOR FIRST!! So many people take these pills for longer hair/nails, but these pills and vitamins are designed for people with a deficiency. Please do not take without asking a doctor because it can cause serious health problems. As for your hair, you have to cut off anything that's damaged. Damaged hair isn't going to repair itself. I would just get it cut. It's hair, it'll grow back! In the meantime, use heat protectant when you use heat, try heatless hairstyles, deep conditioners and masks will be your best friend, and coconut oil. Don't over condition your hair though. Only apply oil/deep conditioners and masks 2-3x per week. Use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and try to wash it only when you must. Dry shampoo will be your bff 😉 Healthy hair can be tough, but start now! Get the damaged hair cut off and start fresh by keeping it healthy. I wouldn't recommend dying your hair silver because that's going to be very damaging and probably require bleach. If you really want it though, I'd recommend getting your hair at a healthy stage first so it doesn't completely fry and damage your hair!

^^ true now if you got a cut like that you could definitely pull it off. but I don't think you should shave or get a pixie, what not. and also what I said about biotin, I did not consult my doctor, I take it regularly, I can see dramatic change in my length and it looks good.

Some people are okay when they take biotin, but for others, it can cause serious health problems. It's putting your life at risk and I would definitely recommend consulting a doctor. You can ask lots of beautylish members. A lot will tell you the same thing. It's dangerous. I think the cut Sami posted would look really good (:

Maddie and Sami I have GOT to ask you this question - why? I am 71 and I have white/grey hair which incidentally I have never dyed but you are all so young why the rush to have old hair??
