How hard is it to remove magenta hair dye?

I used to have red hair and it was a tedious process getting it removed. I'd like to go magenta as long as it isn't difficult to remove. Also if any of you have had magenta hair: What does it look like once it's faded?

It all depends on the color line your going to use and what kind of dye and how long you want it to last. if its going to be permanent it won't fade, it's more for a long term. You'll need to redo your regrowth. if you go with a demi it will fade a bit maybe just get lighter. but you can always buy a glace to refresh your color.

No matter what reds and magentas are going to stain your hair. Its going to be a process no matter what.

Magenta has a red tint so its going to be difficult to remove. It also depends what color you go with as far as quality and how long it will stay vibrant, I would go for Pravana. I think it would be a really cool color but red colors are hard to maintain because they fade quickly. Wash in cold water and of course use a sulfate free shampoos. I would go with some pieces here instead of all over to try out first and see how long it will last because everyones hair is different.

I had went to Hot Topic to purchase hair dye the first time I had ever bleached my hair. I purchased Manic Panic, it was extremely easy to apply, and easy to rinse. But it only lasted 2-3 weeks. But the color was very vibrant. if you're looking for something a little more temporary. Manic Panic is the way to go.
