Homecoming lipstick help?

Okay so I was trying really really hard not to make a post about homecoming because I know they all get annoying and clog the feed, but I'm lost. I've been expiremeting with my makeup tonight, and I think I'm going to go for a cool toned gradient with a really shimmery inner corner and a really dark crease, with liner, but I'm lost as to lipstick. My dress is navy with red stripes (they're like a burnt red up close) I've always had a hard time finding nude lipsticks for myself, for I feel like they wash me out really badly, but I don't want to go red for I'll worry about my lips the whole night and I'm going dark on my eyes. Do you guys have any suggestions? I'm cool toned, fair skin, with auburn hair (recently done, so my pictures aren't updated on my hair) oh and I'm wearing white shoes (I'm going to be patriotic as anything but I don't have any alternatives) thanks so much!

I think this lipstick colour would look gorgeous!! its kinda nude and pinkish and would look great on your skintone :) love the dress by the way.

Try a My Lips But Better color! I have a hard time finding nude lipsticks as well so when I go dark/dramatic on my eyes I just wear a MLBB color, which for me is NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien (:

Do a light red and yes I may be young but I know what will look good with makeup I have been doing makeup since I was 4 so trust me light red and if you don't have that do a nude pink

I feel a nude would be best instead of a red because it would be too matchy matchy with the dress.
