I personally love contouring, because the fact that people can completely change their face shape just by powders and creams is really incredible to me :)

I prefer contouring. I like adding back in the dimension to my face after applying my foundation, which just blanks out my features. Strobing on my normal to oily skin can just make me look even more oily and that's not the look I'm after, lol.

Why don't you start with contouring & highlighting, and seeing which you like more that way? I sort of inadvertently did that, and ended up prefering just a highlight. But in my case, I have a pretty sharp jawline and cheekbones so contouring ended up making me look... sick lol.

I prefer strobing because I have a natural shadow under my cheekbones and I have dry skin. Although I still like to contour the sides of my nose.

I love the look of stoning but it would never work on my extremely oily skin
It looks good for 10 minutes then I just look so greasy haha
I like contouring and highlighting
Because I also just really love starting with erased features from applying foundation then re defining them with my powder. I think it's fun to contour

I won't say which one I prefer but I think strobing makes you look younger if that makes any sense.  😂
