I have really curly hair and saw that there's a way to straighten your hair with no heat but does it really work?

I'm afraid that without heat it's hard to keep hair from going curly. You can wash it, condition it and then brush it out every 5 minutes until dry, but if you've got a curl pattern, it'll still be somewhat wavy/curly.

I have attempted that method before and it's really time consuming and nearly impossible. The next morning, my hair still had some wave. Honestly, it's not worth the time. I'd just buy a good heat protectant and only wash your hair every 2-4 days so you only have to use heat 1-2x a week. It works for me, but my hair isn't super curly either.
