Hello ladies. please don't consider me fool by asking this question. actually I am confuse by using a sperate eye cream. I have no dark circles. but have some lines under eyes. and have been using retinol 0.05% and glycolic acid 10% at night and a moisturizer in the morning. is it enough or should I use a sperate eye cream?

I use a dedicated eye cream because many products are either not safe for use in the eye area or on the eyelid itself or lack ingredients that specifically benefit the delicate eye area...which differs from skin on other areas of one's face. As a fellow Retinoid and glycolic user, I highly recommend Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream which will nourish and plump up the eyes by sealing in moisture. It also contains soothing aloe. I am also sure to include an eye cream or lotion safe for use in the eye area that contains anti-aging peptides and ceramides paired with hyaluronic acid and glycerin. Those ingredients pair well to provide moisture. In this regard, the CeraVe Eye Repair is excellent, but their AM and PM lotions are also safe for the eye area...the eye cream being thicker.

It really does depend on what other products you are using to moisturize..including serums..as many are indeed safe for use around the eyes. Read labels carefully and do a search on http://www.paulaschoice.com/beautypedia/ for what you are using. It is highly informative.

I'm unsure of what wash you are using, but when you are combating dryness, I find CeraVe wash soothing and hydrating. Purity is also lovely. I use Philosophy Microdelivery Wash just prior to applying make-up if I've flaking due to weather, meds, etc...followed by Embryolisse Lait-creme Concentrate as a moisturizing primer. If you are not sensitive to mineral oil, it is fantastic. Lastly, adding facial oils such as jojoba, rosehip, sweet almond, Vitamin E, Apricot and Evening Primrose do any skin a world of good...especially if you are on meds that cause dryness. Are you acne prone or addressing anti-aging?

Thank you sweet Rozberry for such a helpful reply. you are adorable gal :) I have no acne prob. my major concern is antiaging and open pores. I apply the same retinal + glycolic cream under eye area that I use rest of face. and I have noticed huge difference in fine lines under eyes. so that's why I was confused if I really need a sperate eye cream or the current creams are enough...
I am from Pakistan. and having trouble to find the creams that you recommend. like cerave lotions are not available in my country: (

Alia go online and see if you can have it delivered to Pakistan. I use Monsia Skincare. I will use their website as an example http://www.monsiaskincare.com/worldwide.html
Go across the page and you will see all the countries they will deliver to. I am sure all the other companies mentioned above have a similar system. Hope this helps.
