My hair is naturally really dark brown and I've done a million things to it bleach, dye, anything and everything lol. Anyways. right now it was about back to my natural colour and I wanted to dye it a bit lighter, so I got a dark blonde box dye to lighten it, anyways it turned reddish brown and I do not like the "reddish" would dying it an ash blonde take the red out?? What should I do lol.

You would need a high lift extra light ash color to help if your planning on a blonde like color. You need a Cool tone not warm which makes Reds appear on the hair.

Was the dye temporary or permanent? I have a friend who dyes her hair all the time..she has dyes and hers are temporary..so try washing it and if that doesn't work, maybe get a box of the color you want your hair to be and then dye your hair like that. if not try to bleach it and THEN dye it..just a suggestion.

No. Because you lifted some color you will have to lift the rest to be able to tone it and put a dark color on top. A professional may be able to use a heavy duty color stripper and maybe bleach bath before using a toner and filler, but it's unlikely to work after being bleached by a box dye. Especially if you have tons of box dye underneath. And please don't use box dyes to get to lighter hair, they are waaaay to harsh. They all contain the strongest cheapest bleach and a 40 volume developer, which you would probably only need a 20, especially to get box dye out without completely breaking off the hair.

I would just go to a professional is what I'm saying, there's no way to do this without tons of damage, and there's knowledge with how things react and how much you have to lift and fill that they've spent years learning, and you won't be able to know or have the products to fix them. But tell them you used box dye.

You want a light brown hair color? you can still achieve a look with a box dye.I'm blonde right now and it was achieved with Box dye's I've been dying my hair for year's,Many other people on here have experience with a dye as well and I'm sure could also give you some tip's or if anything a actual hair colorist can help you. Lili what is your age? When dying your hair you must always be wise with it. :)
