I just felt the need to make a little chat group/post where we could talk about dermatillomania or skin picking disorder! So basically this is where people compulsively pick at their skin, or in my case, my nails and fingers. I love looking at mail tutorials however my nails are always extremely short. If you guys would like, you can share pictures of any scars or anything and we can share positivity and tips!!

I have the same thing it's terrible and its really hard to Stop I want to get acrylic nails but that hurts and I feel like I would

I chew at the skin around my nails and I bite my nails as well. I find that when I have gel or acrylic nails done I don't mess with them as much. But as soon as I take them off to strengthen my nails back up it gets bad again.
