I'm looking for some new running shoes/ trainers and a sports bra. Any suggestions? I'm from the UK so I'd prefer suggestions of brands rather than stores to go into (unless you're from the UK too and know what shops I could look at), as we might not have the same shops over here.

I have some very basic trainers that I use for the gym but I don't think they're really cut out for running. Do you think it might be worth going into a store and asking for suggestions?

I'm also looking for a decent sports bra. I've never bought one before because I didn't think I really needed it (I'm not very busty (34B) and I only really did lower impact exercises) but as I'm really upping my fitness game I think I could do with something decent really.

Thanks for any help!

Definitely get a sports bra, you don't want to loose the firmness of your chest. I really like Adidas :)

And for shoes, there must be specialised running stores where they have a device that reads your steps and suggest specific shoes. It's really painful to run without the propper shoe, you may get injured

Thanks Lara I'll look into adidas!

I'm not sure about running shops and I haven't heard about a device that analyses your steps, sounds really interesting! I was planning on going into the city to get the stuff I need so I'll do some research, there's bound to be somewhere!

I love my Nike free 5.0 ❤️ mosto confortable running shows I've had and they hold up so well. My friend just got some of the Nike rosche shoes and she says she is in love with them. Nike is also my favorite brand for bras. No I'm not a brand name junkie lol but they happen to be the brand I like for those 2 things. I wear the same size as you also.

Thanks Taylor, I'll look into Nike too!

Have either of you tried Victoria's Secret's Sports bras? There's a VS shop opened by me and I've seen a few pretty ones in there but if they're not very good from a support point of view then I won't bother :P

Primark has really cute fitness clothes :) for the sport bra and the shoes, I would recommend Nike or Adidas

Definitely go to a running store for shoes, for free they'll help decide what the best shoe is for your feet (which is so important!) and they can help you pick out some there, or you can take your info and business somewhere less expensive. My running shoes are the Nike structures and I love them!

Thanks Laura, Janelle and Krysten!

Laura, how do you find the Primark stuff lasts? I haven't shopped in Primark in ages, everytime I buy something it seems to fall apart within a couple of washes.

I have a sports bra from primark and it's really good. I washed it loads of times and it's still perfect. I also have runners from there too and they are really good! Definitely check primark out they have a lot of sports wear.

If you go into sports direct or JD sports they can advise you on everything :)

I bought some athletic clothing for my hubby (blue tank and dark blue short) - https://www.gotapparel.com/c-3-athletic-wear.aspx. The purchase delivered quite in time. We are pleased with the quality of newly purchased items! Now I want to choose something for myself there.
