Should I get Gels or Acrylics?

First off, I love this so much because you guys help me in my crisis!! Ok so basically I play really competitive soccer and I have tournaments and four practices a week etc. Another thing about me is that I have a problem with biting and peeling my nails. Whenever I get my nails done I'm really happy because I won't bite or peel and they get super long and pretty. But right when the paint starts to peel, I ruin my nails😓. I've tried to get my nails done a lot more than usual in order to keep my nails long, but it's so expensive. My question is: should I get gels and/or acrylics? I don't know anything about them so please help. Thanks.

I recommend gel, I think they are better than acrylic.

I would get an acrylic overlay with gel. It's acrylic over your real nail with a gel polish :)
