Such a shame!! I hate when that happens!! I normally leave the others as they are, that is until my ocd kicks in and I trim them all the same length. Some say they have to all be the same, but honestly if you don't mind it, I say keep them the way they are. Maybe file them a little every couple days until the short one is the same length, does that make sense? Lol.

Taylor, I almost cried lol.
I hate when that happens and I always am on the fence. Sometimes I leave them as is, other times I hate the unevenness, trim them all then regret it lol. I was thinking doing a tip on just that one. but I don't want to ruin nails. BAHHH

Uhh I hate when that happens! I'm the type that cuts them all if the difference is at all noticeable! But that just me haha I'm a perfectionist to the nauseating extremely haha!
But can I give you a tip? Square nails break a lot easier then rounded/almond/stiletto shaped! I used to be all about the square nails but after I changed mine to almond shape mine almost never breaks anymore :)

Sabrina, really?! I feel like I always read that square nails were the least likely to break, but now it looks like my nails are in for a change, but I LOVE square lol the struggle is real.

It's something about the shape, it makes the nail stronger - of cause not it just make them really really pointy - but like a good almond shape :)
Oh god me to, I love square, but almond looks really good as well when you get used to it :)

I completely agree with Sabrina!! The blunt edge of a square nail is prone to catching and tearing. The almond shape has less of a blunt side, so things don't catch as easily! I have been wanting to file them to an almond shape, but as soon as I get close to being able to, my index nail tears... Always my index nail lol I currently have nubbins due to my stupid index nail and my ocd lol.

Thank you so much ladies!! I ended up *slightly* trimming/filing the others. Not too happy, but better than the alternatives. lol
@Shannie - I love that! Literally laughed out loud!

I'd buy fake ones from Walgreens or something just to cover them for a week or two. I get acrylics but I wouldn't recommend that as they have damaged my nails beyond belief.
