MOTD: Cut Crease Feedback??

Hey all! So this is the first time any of my cut creases have turned out even remotely ok, and I wanted to share!

Products:
MAC Painterly Paint Pot
Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette
KVD Tattoo Liner in Mad Max Brown
MUFE Aqua Eyes Eyeliner in 10
Ardell Demi Wispies
Covergirl Lashblast
MAC Velvet Teddy

Run Down:
I began with Blueberry Swirl back and forth lightly in my crease. I then blended it upward with Peanut Butter. Next I used Licorice on an angled brush to outline the crease further. I then used MAC Painterly Paint Pot and an angled brush to create an even crisper line, make the shadow flare out in a wing shape, and to coat the moving part of my lid. I put Bon Bon over top of the paint pot and then put some more Blueberry Swirl in my crease to blend it out a bit more. Then I applied winged liner, smudged out my bottom lash line with Blueberry Swirl and Peanut Butter, tightlined my upper and lower water lines, and applied mascara and falsies. Then I put on Velvet Teddy.

All in all, it's still not quite as blended as I would like in the crease. I feel like the dark to light gradient coming from the "cut" part of the crease and upwards isn't very smooth. I'm sorry I don't have any pics with my eyes completely closed, but do you guys have any feedback on how to make that gradient smoother while still keeping the crispness of the line? Also just any advice on cut creases in general would be appreciated.

Thanks so much!

It's freaking fab. You did a real cut crease and not a banana cut crease which there is nothing wrong with but this is the real deal. Awesome!

Thank you Cristina! And Illyana, I'm glad you like it! It took a lot of work :)

You look beautiful Jamie :) It might be the light butit looks like the transition color could be blended just a tiny bit more :)
And that lipstick is made for you!

Sabrina, it's not just the light, I completely agree! I'm having problems blending out that area while still keeping the crease crisp. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them! And thank you! It's actually my sisters lipstick...I should probably pick one up myself.

Uh I'm no expert on cut creases - but as I understand the bottom line is supposed to be crisp and the top more blended :) What I would do to blend the top more without messing with the crisp bottom line is to find a eyeshadow that is just a shade darker then your skin and just blend that ever so slightly into the color - that would make a nice "fluid" transition :) Hope that makes sense :)

And you should definitely pick that one up! It looks like it was made for you!

Thank you so much Jacqueline! I definitely see what you're talking about on the inner corner; I'll definitely work on that, and of course, the blending. Your advice about the liner application and blending it out really makes a lot of sense. I'll definitely work on it during my next attempt! :) I'm glad you saw my post; your advice is always super helpful.

Sabrina, that does make sense thanks! And I guess I'll add it to my (already very long) list! This site is so enabling.
