I have very very dry thick hair and am struggling first of all with getting all the conditioner and shampoo out when I shower which makes it clumpy at times. But I also have dandruff most of the time you can't see it but lately it's been starting to show and is very itchy, is this from the product in my hair or the dryness?
Thank you very much in advance

Try cholesterol treatment. Section your hair into 4 parts and apply it directly to your scalp and work it to your ends. Put on a shower cap and you can leave it for 30 minutes or sleep it and wash it out whatever you'd like. This will help dry scalp , dry hair , damaged hair. Do it as much as you want. Or you could always try coconut oil.

I've never had luck with Cholesterol. Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Scalp Treatment stops itching and reduces flakes for many types of issues. I love it. I'd personally use Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Coconut Oil or Macadamia Nut Oil deep conditioning treatment..avoiding the scalp and alternating with a Hair Mask. I'd also use a leave - in conditioner and buy a "Wet Brush".

Here's am interesting article on which oils are moisturizing and which are only sealants for hair. I love to use hsir masks and alternate with an oil.

Sometimes dandruff is caused by psoriasis. If you have normally dry skin, especially in the winter, go to your dermatologist. They'll be able to give you some medication and shampoo to use to help your symptoms. :)

Leave in Aussie deep conditioner! I have the same problem as you and this really helps my hair.

I think switching up your shampoo and conditioner will help. I suggest L'Oreal Ever- Lines (EverPure, EverSmooth, Ever-whatever). I also think that Aussies 3 Minute Miracle would help to use a few times a week or just whenever your hair feel drier than normal.
