Hi ladies can anyone please help? So I'm 30 now and this year have noticed crow feet really bad like on photos and when I look at myself I look old it's just hit me all in one go, I've had a bad few years and now it's showing 😞
Long story short where do I start? I've breakouts often! I heard someone talk about retinol? I'm from the UK and don't no much about skin care tbh any help would be great

You could start with an anti-aging eye cream - I love the Clinique all about eyes cream it's great for fine lines, dark circles, and puffiness and very affordable.

Personally I didn't feel that the clinic eye cream did anything for my fine lines or dark circles, after going through two pots, I saw no difference. However the Lancome genifique serum or Estee Lauder's advanced night repair, retinol cream (avene worked well, la roche posay less good), Mario Badescu eye cream all made a real difference. I also had a few bad years before I hit 30 and it's when my wrinkles started, however they are almost invisible now with my skin care.

I can't suggest any one eye cream because I've used many different brands since I was in my 20s. And I don't have any lines around my eyes yet. But, I do advise sunscreen everyday and consistently wearing SUNGLASSES. Even when there's no sun out. Because just mere daylight can cause you to squint. Day after day of squinting can definitely contribute to premature wrinkles. I am even conscious of not squinting when I wake up in the morning and turn on the lights. Also, try to become a 'back' sleeper. Good for preventing all facial wrinkles.

And of course...DON't SMOKE!

I agree with being a back sleeper helps with minimizing wrinkles. Also using spf and sunglasses. I used Estee Lauder and it was too drying for me. It did worked though. Roc is awesome too. Not drying for my skin.

RoC Deep Wrinkle is a quality Retinol Product. I'd pair it with Olay Pro-x anti aging nightly peel. You need to really mousturize. Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream is very hydrating and effective to counter dryness from other products. CeraVe PM is packed with ceramides and peptides and is extremely gentle. It shouldn't break you out. I'd be sure to use a hydrating cleaner like CeraVe or Cetaphil and add a physical broad spectrum sunscreen and a Vitamin C serum or product with a time ascorbic acid to my routine. A caffeine, clear roller reduces puffiness and soothes tired eyes. I have to say, I'm in love with the Shiseido retinol eye patches. Soooo brightening and moisturizing. Really targets the ender eye and corners...when I'm done with my eyes, I use the patches on other areas of my face, such as around my mouth or brow. Even using the lotion that is left on the wrapper to get every bit. You can try them in a 3 pack.

Consider a CC cream with anti-aging benefits as well. Amp up the C and Omega 3 in your diet and eating foods rich in antioxidants hekps. Dark berries and strawberries, for example. Lastly, I can't say enough about the Dr. Brandt Glow dual kit. You need only a little, but it is how I keep fresh faced between visits to my Estie every six months. http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod5920232

Honestly, an Esthetician is an amazing investment as well as a great derm. I'd look into getting a facial and Microderm abrasion with quakity, diamond tips...discuss maybe what peel would be best to get your skin in the best shape possible to enjoy maximum benefits from your products.

Ohh..and I love my Jojoba and sweet almond oil. I use only cotton on my face and Cold Pressed Coconut Oil to remove eye makeup..followed by Bioderma. The best advice I got was to never tug at the delicate eye area. Ladtly, Dermalogica Age Smart Primer smells icky at first, but vanishes in a moment. I love it and sometimes wear it alone. Adds a hint of luminous protection.

I don't think we can get roc in the uk anymore. I've been looking everywhere for it :(

Ugh...well the Olay is pretty fantastic stuff and I'm not a fan of Olay, so I was shocked. I'm not sure if Dr. Brandt is in the UK or Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye either, but CeraVe might be. I wonder if the Shiseido is available there. Hopefully the ladies will have a dupe for the RoC.

Also make sure you have a good, consistent skincare regimen going: exfoliate, cleanse, tone, eye cream then moisturize. During the day, use SPF. I use all types of products to keep all facets of my skin looking good since I'm in my 30s. Be warned that retinol can make your skin very sensitive to hot wax. I gave up waxing my brows for threading because it made me look as though I was burned.

I have helped my sister who is 45 years old to get rid of her wrinkles. I might be able to help you.
