I'm hearing about this derma roller thing. It seems painful so if anybody have experienced it please share how was it.

Yes it's slightly painful but it depends on your pain tolerance. I'm not sure what you're using yours for but I used mine for stretch marks & noticed a difference. It was most painful on my sides/hips. I would also finish by using a lotion for the stretch marks since the skin is open.

I use.050 mm in the face for acne scars and hyperpigmentation and (well I only used twice I am kind of lazy to do that) I finish by applying vitamin c serum after. I have the 2.00mm for stretch marks follow by collagen cream.I only use it once but planning to use it more. Surprisedly it hurts more on the body than on the face.

Hope this also helps.

I bought one and I've used it a few times. It definitely doesn't hurt and I can barely feel anything. I got one that is 1 mm. Maybe I need to be more consistent, but I'm not on board yet with this yet...

That sounds really interesting. I'm not sure I would manage to be consistent.

I want to use for hyperpigmentation but fear it would get worse than now. I have it in my upper lip.

You could just try exfoliating then and using something like mederma or another product for dark marks. Only thing is consistency. I've had the darkest of marks removed by mederma.

Thnx Jasmine S. Mederma I have heard only is effect while using after that it rather spreads more. How long have you been using it and how its working?

I use it for acne marks left over. I use it every night until the mark is basically gone. As long as your hyper pigmentation is in one spot & is not spreading then I'd suggest using Mederma. But if it's all over & you notice progression then maybe you should see a dermatologist.

I use it ever so often (0.5)..its only painful on tight skin like forehead...after I use a vitamin c serum ( which burns really bad for a few seconds but calms down)..then I go to sleep and wake up to the plumpest softest skin ever
