Hey so I'm looking to get a balayage and I'm wondering what are some good ways to explain to my hairdresser what do to? I was also wondering if it is possible to do at home bc I usually dye my own hair but I'm not sure if I would be able to do it at home if so what should I use. (If I do it at home my sister can help me so I'm not doing it on myself)

I recently got a balayage and it completely depends what you want, I asked for a subtle face framing balayage with golden tones. I think you should get it done professionally the first time to see how it's done and to see how it looks best

I would suggest that you have it done professionally if you can afford to
And definitely have some pictures of what you want your hair to look like and what you don't want it to look like
