I had three new earrings put in my ears recently, and no one has directly commented on the new piercings. I'm actually a bit surprised. Has this been your experience too?

I am going to be 100% honest and say that I never really notice anyone's ears unless they wear their hair up. I still like to have my ears pierced though 😊

I don't think people notice ear piercings unless the jewelry is eye catching or the piercing itself is unusual.

I don't think people notice ears even if they're pierced, it's kinda just very usual unless you've got very flashy jewelry

Yeah, I've never gotten compliments regardless of jewelry unless my hair is up. But it also depends on people. Sometimes they don't notice/don't know if it's new and don't want to look like they don't pay attention, or sometimes they don't like it. Even my face piercing I really only get compliments (rarely) from strangers or people who knew I was getting it or saw me right after while it was still swollen.

I have my lobes stretched as well, along with a tragus and conch piercing. Most don't notice even when my hair is up which is most of the time. I don't think people really notice ear piercings, especially if your makeup is really done well or your hair is some gorgeous, different color. I'm always afraid that jobs will notice and ask me to take them out...which I would never do. lol 😜

Lol tamara - I used to have my Monroe pierced and at my old job I would wear a clear silicone retainer, and my boss never noticed. Piercings were a no go. Even flashy earrings were "unacceptable". One day I forgot to put my retainer in and I had to make sure she was only on my right side so she wouldn't notice the sparkling stud in my face lol. If she had noticed and told me to take it out I think I would have just said "okay. Bye" lol.

I find it kind of strange, my lobes are stretched to 2G and hardly anyone notices - I'm aware that's not huge, but I really notice them haha! I am just about to start a new job at a fairly posh supermarket, and like Alyx, I've just worn a clear retainer stud in my nostril piercing so far and no-one's noticed! I find it kind of funny that my colleagues are surprised I have my septum done, too, but I only keep that hidden for work! For my ears I either wear subtle amethyst plugs or double flared Rose Quartz plugs, so they just look like studs!

I was think the only people who might mention it are your close friends and family. Only those people would notice the difference. That's also assuming your hair was pulled back a bit.

People always noticed mine when they were stretched lol but I don't think people notice ears much...

I am not sure what I would get, but I feel like I would get a second eat piercing in one ear, but I don't know! It's definitely something to think about for the future!
