Hi ladies, I know this is probably unchangeable, but my makeup routine takes a whole hour and a half, even when I go as fast as I can and lay everything out the night before. I wear a full face in public every day, always have, and always would like to. The unfortunate thing is how long it takes me to go out anywhere-- I'm sure you guys can relate. Have you found any strategies to speed up your routines?
The products I use are all listed on my profile if it helps!
Thanks so much in advance!

If you usually go with a bold eye, going for a bold lip can shave off a few minutes.

How old are you? I found that the older I got, the less time I had and the less I cared about having a perfect full face of makeup every day. A good skincare routine can save you time because you won't need to cover much (if anything) on your face and it'll make you look fresher too :)

Try an experiment: try leaving the house with just mascara and maybe concealer. How does it make you feel? It certainly saves time but I think it'll make you feel more beautiful too :)

Thanks girls! I'm 17. I don't really feel good about myself without a full face. Maybe this will change as I get older, I sure hope so 😄

I know this is weird ,but I lay out all the products I will be using in the order I will be using and it saves me like 5-10 minutes

I wear a full face and it takes me about 20-30 minutes everyday. And thats me taking my time, if I hurry it takes me 15 minutes. And hour and half is really long what is your current routine?

I agree with Lisa. If I'm doing a full face and taking my time it takes like 30 mins max. An hour and a half is a long time I'm interested in what you do? :)

I will apply my serum, moisterizer & sunscreen 1st. And while I'm waiting for it to dry & set, I'll work on my eyes, shadow primer, lower line of my brow and eyeliner on upper eyelid and tightline upper lid. I don't use eyeshadow on workdays, I just smudge my dark brown liner for a light shadow. Then I apply my foundation & concealer. Then I go back and finish my brows. I use a neutral blush to give my cheeks some dimension without actual color. That gives kinda of a subtle contoured look without the extra step of using an actual contour. I don't usually wear mascara but if I did, I would skip the lash curler. Then finish up with my lipliner & lipgloss.
