So my grandma is a hair stylist, and she's going to dye my hair this weekend (: I was wondering if I do a balayage if it should be only two shades above my natural hair color or if it could be more or less? and do yall have any tips for making sure it doesn't turn brassy? thank you so much!

To make sure it doesn't go brassy you can use some purple shampoo. I'm pretty sure most salons sell it, but I'm not sure how much it costs. You just use it like once a week and it works great!
