Best look for taking photos?

I'm doing a shoot with my friend tomorrow and we are doing our own makeup I want a look that really stands out in photos. Any suggestions?

Makeup tends to wash out in photography mostly flash photography so I'd use pigmented shadows and darker shades so instead of browns go for black also any foundation with a higher spf than 15 will have a really bad flash back also if you're comfortable applying falsies go for it.

I'd say keep it natural and fresh looking and like Joanna mentioned about the spf.
