I was going to do the Miss Michigan Teen Pageant this year but I have decided not to and prepare for next year.
So instead of buying an expensive gown I am going to sew my own. I have so many ideas and I would like to hear other peoples opinions.
I was thinking of emerald green, dark blue, or a deep purple to help bring out the colors in my eyes and hair.
Then here are photos of dress style ideas (I would not make my dress like one in the photos but it would have that style and style beading)
Also feel free to give more ideas than what I give. (I can only work a long gown at the moment since I do not know the required color for the short dresses next year yet)

Well hello fellow Michigander!
I think an emerald green silk or chiffon version of #2
Good luck next year!

I think the body of number two in a deep purple but minus the sleeves if you can and a sweetheart neckline. I would still stick with the flowing bit because it would definitely help you stand out and looks very elegant. I think a black would also help your eyes and hair more so than other colors.

I honestly think that either 2 or 3 would look the best, I guess its just personal preference and body shape.
if you are skinny and kinda curvy that number 3 would be perfect.
if you think that you are more curvy and have larger shoulders than 2 would be perf.
but if you like 1 than get that one, its not my favourite but its not hideous :)

I think 3 but in emerald with gold detail would be so beautiful!
