I'm thinking I want to go purple before I go back blonde. I have blue hair right now, I used ion brilliance azure and ion brilliance Aqua to get the color I have now. I don't want to bleach my hair again, I was going to just dye over it using ion brilliance purple. do you guys think it will turn out okay, like a dark purple/blue color? I used a photo editing app and it made it look like my hair would be green if I put purple on top of the blue 😂😳 I don't wanna dye it if that's what will happen!! help?

Maybe try it out on a small section of hair that's under the rest of your hair

Its so hard to say how colors will react on top of each other - They don't always act like we expect them to! I would try and fade the blue as much as possible, almost til its all gone and then dye over. But I agree with Sara, if you don't want to wait then try a little section of the hair and see if it goes green!

You Can always try on a hair color remover they don't do any sort of damage :)
I've used one before on teal hair and it did remove a bit of the color, but honestly teal isn't the easiest color to get rid off
I hope you find a solution

Ok so update, I dyed a small bit in the back underneath and liked the way it turned out, so I did my whole head. good news, it didn't turn green! it's a really pretty purple color. I used ion brilliance radiant orchid.
