Wispy bangs/see through bangs, is it a big commitment?

I have fake bangs and they look great, but my jet black hair dye is faded on the top of my head since I wash my hair everyday. So, the bangs are a little too dark for the top of my head. Should I get real bangs? Would it be easy for me to push back wispy/see through bangs if I don't want to wear them on a certain day? Also, is it easy to trim them by yourself if they get too long?

I asked my stylist for side bangs that could also be worn as straight bangs. They were short as side bangs and a bit long as straight bangs but it was still cute. My best friend always talks about how much she liked it. You could try something like that?
