This may be a weird question, and it's mostly for the girls with really long hair. When you put conditioner in your hair, do you put it up somehow or just leave it against your back? I feel like if I leave it and continue showering, the water will hit it and rinse out before I want it to, because I lie to leave the conditioner on for a few minutes. I usually put it up in a clip but I feel like it's damaging my hair. It's a weird question, I know. But I just wonder what everyone else does.

I usually do something like that too, or I use a shower cap so there's less strain on the wet hair. I don't like to leave my hair down because I don't feel like the conditioner soaks in enough and I also worry about bacne from the conditioner.
