My boobs have been hurting for the past few months. They hurt badly when I touch them lightly and when I put on a bra and take it off. To make it worse, they have been getting red burning patches sometimes with little bumps; this started nearly 2 years ago. I've tried all sorts of medicated creams to help the patches which clear up sometimes but the pain is still there. I don't know what else to do. Any thoughts?

@Kelly I know that is most likely a must, ugh I hate going to the doctor and I just hate doing tests and I know this will definitely result in me having to do a mammogram which makes me nervous.

...you cannot stay with a problem on your breasts for 2 years...Breasts and intimate area are very riscky for your health and the posibility of makeing babies...It doesn't matter what kind of tests you must do...Just go...Probably is just a hormon problem.

Latisha, I know your fear of mammograms. I am absolutely terrified. But I would ask your doctor if there are any alternatives before doing a mammogram. I hear they are so painful and it doesn't help that Smosh did a video involving a mammogram and... yeah. anyway, yeah, definitely ask your doctor for less painful alternatives first.

I would think going to the doctor would be one of the only first options.

You don't need to fear for the worst, Latisha. Just go to your doc- it might be a hormonal thing, some sort of skin infection, etc. You might not even need a mammogram. They aren't the worst thing ever. Maybe uncomfy momentarily but its no big deal. I haven't had one yet, but I don't fear it and neither should you. Work on your anxiety about the doctors/getting tests so when the time comes you can be cool as a cucumber! <3.

Okay @julianne thank you :) I know I have to work on that I just always expect the worst. D: I should be going to the doctor next week so I will let him know.
