I usually take a shower after my nails are dry so it's easier. It'll peel off while you're showering in warm/hot water. Sometimes I just stand in the shower and peel my nail polish off that's on my skin.

I use acetone and a paintbrush to clean around my nails when I paint them. Then I use lotion so it won't dry out.

I have a shower after I paint my nails it peels off easy or use a tooth pick twist a tiny bit of cotton wool around the point and dip in nail polish remover its more accurate than a q tip so you can get in real close to the nail and perfect the edges (:

I use to paint nails all day as part of my job and I was horrible at it. lol an old flat nail brush dipped in polish remover was my life saver. Its also easy cleaning up polish on your own skin that way not just when removing from a clients skin. I also used this trick all the time for free hand french polish. So much quicker to just make a not so good line then clean it up.

I usually put nail polish remover on a Q tip to get it off. Sometimes I put tape around the edges of my finger and then take it off when my nails dry completely.
