I thought i had found my holy grail of foundation in Kat Von D, though the coverage is exactly what I need, towards the end of the day the foundation becomes blotchy and looks as if its peeling off my skin. I use primer and Mosturizer but its just not working out. I plan to finish the The foundation or just use it as a concealer but I was wondering what's a good Full Coverage foundation for Oily skin that hopefully won't blotch like that one. Thanks so much!!

You could try Revlon Colorstay for Oily skin but foundation in itself is not good for oily skin. You should try a BB Cream or tinted moisturizer and just use concealer and a good powder to set.

For your oily skin you can also try witch hazel as your toner and a thin ayer of milk of magnesia under your foundation. Hope this helps.

Take this from someone who has EXTREMELY oily skin. Get makeup forever mat velvet + foundation. You will not regret this purchase. I can easily where this for 15 hours straight without oil peeking through. It is amazing and the shade range is great! Ox

Mac foundations have always worked for me, and I have very oily skin. I use the Studio Fix Pressed Powder because it gives me liquid coverage & staying power but its light on my skin. I'll never use another product!

Hmm...if you have oily skin I'd stay away from Kat Von D products. I have combo skin and her products seem a bit heavy, although very good coverage. Um. I'd definite go for bare minerals. That's the best mineral foundation out there and it really sits on your skin beautifully and brings out that glow. However, it does not do an amazing job with coverage. So I'd recommend concealer or something of that sort in addition if you want full coverage. I'd suggest makeup forever liquid foundation but I'm almost certain that will leave you blotchy at the end of the day /:

I second nessa the tarte Amazonian clay foundation is my miracle foundation, prevents oil and break outs and had SPF! AMAZING!!!!! A little pricey so go to sephora or Ulta and try it on first, it glides on like pearls, make sure to use the brush tarte makes for it, it's round kabuki with a wooden handle

Omg! I just discovered Covergirl simplyageless foundation, the one in the pot! It is amazing! I have dry skin right now, but i think it would be great for all types! I may have to do a review on my beauty channel, graceandglamor! It's great!

I recently started using milk of magnesia as a primer and it has reopened the door to foundations that I previously loved but couldn't really wear because my oily skin was like acid. I have been experimenting with using the MM first and then a thin layer of regular primer to smooth my face out and it is amazing. You may want to try the MM before you discard your HG foundation.

I have oily skin too and tried a lot of different foundations. I love MAC Studio Sculpt. It's oil free and is a great buildable coverage.

I have tried NYX stay Matte but not flat full coverage powder foundation on my oily skin and it has been a winner!
