Has anyone ever "Co-Washed" their hair? I saw a video on it and read a few articles. It looks like something I could do and want to start asap! If anyone wants to give me some tips, share their experiences with it, etc...please do so!!

I have natural ash blonde curls. I've tried co-washing, no-poo, low-poo and bicarbonate of soda!! it took my hair a few weeks to adjust to low-poo washing but I couldnt do co-washing. my hair felt greasy at the roots and dry at the ends. I've gone back to washing the normal way ( and straightening my hair)

I co wash almost daily, it's made my hair so much softer, easier to manage and healthier. Do you plan on going completely shampoo free and have you heard about the curly girl method? I know I don't have African American hair, but I hope I can help!

I have a dry, 4c hair type and my experience with co-washing was very good. I used the Miss Jessie's sulfate free conditioner. After co-washing her hair, one of my friends applies silicone-free conditioner on her hair and styles as usual. I haven't built up the courage for that so I just use leave-in conditioner and top it off with coconut oil. :)

Im 20, have had braids almost 85% of my life! And never have had relaxers, perms, or any other chemicals in my hair (Proud to be 20 Years chemical free!) So my hair is already pretty strong, thick & healthy and naturally not "nappy". But please do not be shocked or grossed out but i've gone up to 3 months without washing just because i dont get too much dirt/grease buildup or stink. But ik its much healthier to wash it more often but shampoos can be so harsh:( Thats why I'd like to try the Co-Washing Method for my scalp's sake!

I've been moisturizing my scalp with pure shea butter && beeswax! Been looking and trying for a good conditioner...am considering Wen, Mazoni, VIA, && some of the drug store brands! What do y'all use?

Wen isn't worth the money the ingredients are the same as any drugstore conditioner....I co wash for 2 weeks and then do a baking soda wash once then back to co washing...but I only wash my hair once a week

I started co washing my hair about four months after I went natural "it will be two years in May" and I love it. My hair stays soft and moisturized. I use tresamae naturals conditioner and I love it, it has great slip, moisture and a great price. I recently starting using Giovanni leave in conditioner also and it's pretty good so far. Hope this helps.

i tried co washing my hair for about a month. and i hated it. i tried a lot of different conditioners, some were better than others but all left my hair feeling not quite clean. at the time I was desperate to control my hair, it was so dry and frizzy. now when i wash my hair i use a plant based shampoo and conditioner and i only shampoo once instead of twice,it was stripping my hair too much. after towel drying my hair i apply argan oil and let it dry naturally or blow dry. my hair looks so much better now even if i don't straighten it .
