Do any of you ladies have a scar that may make you insecure or you are proud of? Or you have cover up tips please let me no :)

I love my scar! Its about three and a half inches long, directly over my spine from a double microdiscectomy I had just over a year ago. During my recovery I had to have it massaged frequently, but I didn't want them to to fade my battle wound so they stopped using Vitamin E oil on it (they said it was supposed to help it fade), may be worth a try.

I had an operation around 4 years ago now as my intestine had split open. My scar is from the middle of my bra, down close to my underwear line and across to the right near my hip. I've always wondered how many people have scars out there and who are willing to discuss them. Thanks for sharing :)

I have 4 incision scars from a gallbladder removal. Was supposed to be 3 but I think the surgeon made a mistake...(kinda scary if you think about it...a surgeon making a mistake even if it's a common procedure). I never even bothered to try and erase the scars. The one at my belly button looks kinda bad but oh well. Scars make you look tough so I like them or at least that's what I tell myself, lol.

Oh, wow, that's incredible! It sounds like that is quite serious, I'm glad everything is okay now =)
How do you feel about your scar? Do you embrace it or do you try to cover it when its visible? Does it make you feel glad that you overcame that or does it remind you of that scary time?

My scar was infected so they have to make holes in it to clean it out, then I had weeks off them packing the three holes so they would heal, my scar is now left bumpy and all over the place, I went to my doctor and asked for surgery and was denied funding. In a way I'm quite glad really, this scar was given to me for a reason so why should I change it? It's my way of saying 'I beat death - screw you bitch' haha.

I have good days and bad days, summer time is the worst. I'm 20, nearly 21 and I have never worn a bikini in my life. It's silly really - I shouldn't be bothered by it. But for some reason it still stops me from showing it off.

I feel bad even posting about mine, considering they are nowhere near as bad as the others but here goes; I've had a scar just under my left eyebrow since childhood, it's indented, almost like a bad stretchmark, from falling off of a table. My arms are peppered with little white scars from my childhood because my mother was friends with a woman whose son would always bite me until he brew blood. honestly, if the police ever need his dental records ove got it covered, I've got this scar on my back from a.car wreck, it looks like a sea monkey, lol. And I have a scar above my belly button where it was pierced, I took it out when I was pregnant, there are two big brown spots where the holes were and a shiny whit stretch mark that goes all the way around my belly button.

It doesn't matter how big or small they are :-) its about being proud. All scars have a story behind them, and that's one story nobody can take away from you.

I have a scar from the tip of a pencil going into the skin of my leg when I was in elementary school. Just the graphite part went in but it couldn't be pulled out with tweezers so they had to skit the skin and remove it that way. Its just a little circle but it has a grey tint to it from the graphite. And I have 3 longer scars on the back of my leg from a bike pedal scraping it when I fell off my bike. I also have scars from a bunch of bug bites. Which I actually do want rid of because they're just unsightly dark red spots. They aren't even a cool kind of scar lol.

I have a scar by my left eye that shows up when I smile from when I was little and I fell off a big chest.
