how can I trim my own hair?

I want to cut just a little bit at the ends of my hair just trim it a bit, does anyone know what is the best way to trim your own hair ?

Get proper hair dressing scissors, because kitchen scissors are bad for your hair ! Then just get your hair wet, comb it through and with your fingers find the length you want your hair to be and just cut it straight across for a blunt look

Or if you want it to look more natural then follow the previous steps but then with two fingers hold your hair about an inch from then ends and. Randomly cut up towards your hands ( sorry my explanation is not great )

Also when it's wet remember that it looks longer and when it dries will be shorter so keep that in mind.

Hey holly when I'm cutting my hair like u say am I just parting it in two parts and putting it in the front?
