I understand where you were coming from but you should remember that, just because I don't have romantic/sexual feelings doesn't mean I'm lonely! I still have my family that I'm very close to and my friends, who I love! It can be very hurtful when people assume that without romantic or sexual attraction a person deserves pity or must feel empty. These are attitudes that I often have to face, so I hope you understand that I'm not upset with you but I did want to let you know how I felt when I read your comment. Apology accepted. :)

hey! I'm on the same boat as you when it comes to skin tone. My dads Portuguese and my mom's Scottish so i have his dark eyes and curly hair but my moms freckles. Have you found any lines that bring out your skin tone instead of mask it? Everything I've tried that comes clise ends up being completely yellow

Hi, I have found some that work well for me. My main foundation I use is Lush's Color Supplement in 'Light Yellow,' which I used in the linked photo. It blends seamlessly into my skin, it's amazing. I tested it on my friend too, who has a similar tone but a bit more balanced, but if you live near a Lush store I'd still recommend going in to try it out just in case.
As of today I can officially recommend some BB creams! Both 'Bee Venom' and 'Snail Therapy' by Nature Republic (a Korean skincare/cosmetics company) are a perfect match on me. Bee Venom has only one shade but Snail Therapy has two (Shade 1 is the lighter of the two). Bee Venom is meant for troubled skin (the active ingredients include bee venom, calamine, and salcylic acid). Snail Therapy is more general purpose but pricier, and the active ingredient is snail mucus! Unfortunately, they only have one US store in Honolulu, which is worth a visit if you're in the area, but you can get them online. I included a link to the site I ordered from before I found out they had a store local.

About Me

Hello, I am kind of a beginner at makeup--I used to wear it a lot until I got my eyebrow pierced five years ago and decided to stop for a while while it healed but just never started back up again. Recently I've been focused on treating my acne prone skin and now that it's getting under control I'm excited to get back into it! I love bright, colorful looks as well as dramatic, gothy looks.

At times in the past I've found my skin tone difficult to work with. I'm half hispanic and half white, so I got my light coloring from my mom and my cool, yellow undertone from my dad, but also black-brown hair and eyes (so I think I'll keep him)
