Stacey S.'s (stacey-sommer) Beauty Product Reviews

LOVE THIS PRODUCT

This is a great mascara it is perfect. I switched from my holy grail bad gal to this I love this product to no end. It gives me such beautiful lashes and I just can't get enough. However the price is not as appealing. As a recent college grad I have been trying to cut the costs so I have been trying to find alternatives, however this is by far the best!

LOVE LOVE LOVE

I jumped on the bandwagon, and for good reason. These products are awesome Berry Smoothie is the cliche my lips but better. I just love it. There isn't much other to say than the creamy application, the long lasting color, and the moisturizing feeling sets this product apart from the others. I also have Raspberry Pie, which was SO PIGMENTED ( a little too much for my taste) however it makes a beautiful blush color that just looks amazing once blended! Revlon really takes the cake with lipsticks in general in my opinion.

You decide!

I was so scared of gel liner before I tried this product. I was only using eye shadow as liner but much to my demise it was not very long-lasting for a college girl going all day trying to look her best. I went to my MAC counter purchased this and fell in love. However, curiosity killed the cat, or curiosity killed my wallet...and I went ahead and purchased Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Gel Liner and it was game over. I haven't switched since, however I still believe this is a great product. Here is the scoop MAC's costs 15 bucks, BB is 22 for the same amount of product. Personally for the lasting power of the product, I am on the same pot since June I would go with BB for the extra couple of dollars, however MAC is still a solid product.

Good, but I had tried better.

Many people I assume have tried these out from one time to another, they were a big talk on youtube for awhile. However I do not find myself pulling for these. I have really become grossed out by applying with my finger. It is semi-sticky and it just clings to your finger. If this was in a stick balm I think I would be crazy about it, but it doesn't. I would say if you in the market for a sheer colored lip product that moisturizes I would look to Burt's Bees they have a more convenient balm that I would guarantee you would love. (Revlon lip butters would also be a suggestion for a deeper/richer color).

Am I missing something?

I love blush and different tones ect. However, I am very into a natural look, however I do like a beautiful flushed pink tone to my cheeks. I purchased this for about five dollars, which for the amount of product you get it is semi-expensive. I felt these had NO color payoff. I am a very fair skinned girl and I could not see the appeal of these products. The consistency is really cool and unique but I would prefer to use many other blushes to this one, this is by far a miss in my book, wishing I had my 5 bucks back :/

LOVE THIS, but so hard to find

I first used this before EOS really became a well known brand thanks to their lip balm:smooth spheres. I tried the Vanilla and really loved it. It is much creamier and natural than other skincare brands. It left and silky finish that I just thought was much nicer than other leading companies. My only complaint is I can't find it anywhere. I bought it probably three or four times and can no longer find it. I think this product is well worth it, if you can find it!

Great, Solid Lip balm

It the lip balm world I believe it can be hard to be noticed, however the EOS lip balm has challenged the everyday shape of our lip balms. In a cute ball shape it fits nicely in your hand to apply a smooth moisturizing feel to your lips. I believe that the flavors are absolutely wonderful, almost an adult version of children's lip balms. I personally have tried the lemon, strawberry sorbet, honey suckle, and summer fruit. All have lived up to my expectations, and Strawberry Sorbet is my go-to-balm in both summer and winter. Go ahead, try this balm, and try loosing this funky shape in your bag!

Flawless Beautiful Legs- With a truckload of shimmer

First I must say that this product seriously works. It was probably the greatest tan of pale life. I used it for a wedding last year and put it on both my arms and legs and it just looked gorgeous and natural. You do rub it in a little bit but it doesn't take too much work. The only two downfalls with this product is all the glitter (at least for me) that it leaves on the skin. After a long day (12+) that seems to be all that remains on the skin. My second complaint would be the price, it costs between 10-15 dollars a bottle, which isn't terrible for the quality but it is a high price for a drugstore beauty product. I wouldn't recommend this for everyday use but for events you want to look flawless pick up this product it won't disappoint!

Once the best, but got beaten out!

Once upon a time BADgal was this gal's absolute favorite mascara. It has a much drier consistency which I have learned is my preference when it comes to mascara. To get an idea of what I mean, I am not a fan of the ever so popular lashblash because the formula is just too wet and gets EVERYWHERE. I was thus recommended this and fell absolutely in love and purchased 2 or 3 tubes of this liquid black magic. However, its own makers out did themselves creating They're Real! This resolved any issues I had with BADgal. Issues in perfection? I believe it was one of the factors of my eyes watering and it did come off quite easily when it came to water and rubbing, although I loved it so I grinned and bared it because my lashes looked just that fantastic. If it is between a couple dollars for you then go ahead splurge on this mascara, however if you can afford to spend the extra 2-3 dollars on They're Real! (also created by Benefit) then I would say that it is the superior mascara!

Wonderful!

Certain spots just won't get covered, and although this is not my everyday go-to concealer I still love this gem. It really works well on darker spots and keeps them covered. A friend of mine recently had surgery and marks on her arm before an event and boy did this do the trick at covering them up. It looked great, it is a great addition to a beauty collection for those rough days. It appears many people do not like the color selection, I didn't have an issue with this so I can't really complain. however it is very understandable. I would say go for it for sure, I don't believe you will be disappointed.
