Beauty Product Reviews

I rather liked this one. Went on like a primer. Very smooth, and it blends in really well. It looks very natural, and has surprisingly good coverage for a tinted moisturizer. For the dry spots on my face, it worked really well. My only complaint is that its a bit heavy on the skin. Even with my acne-prone skin, with a bit of concealer and powder I didn't need anything else. Steep on price, but if you can it's worth the splurge.

The color was darker than it should have been, but ended up blending fairly well with my neck. It was quite heavy and thick. It took quite a bit of work to blend it in as it went on a bit sticky. It really did cover very well, so bonus points for that. I wasn't too happy about the texture afterwards. From a distance it's beautiful, but closeup it doesn't look that great over my large pores (even with my primer). I loved the soft matte look, it handled my oily combination skin great. It ended up lasting several hours too. It's got it's good and bad points, but not bad overall.

This one reminds me of a gel in how it settles on your skin. It does a decent job with my large pores, though it has more trouble with any dry skin patches. I've got eczema, and if my skin is feeling at all sensitive that day it can sting just a bit. Overall it's a great one, and I'd buy it again if my favorite wasn't available.

Fantastic

Overall, this has quickly become one of my favorites. It goes on smooth. It leaves a lovely silky layer to my skin that covers my large pores, and helps to ease my dry skin patches. Never bothers my sensitive skin at all. It feels a bit odd at first, but having used DHC Velvet Coat I was used to it. If you smooth on the product, then let it sit for a minute or two it will set perfectly. It honestly leaves such a soft matte finish. Perfect for combination skin. I love it.

I actually got this one in a set with other products, but it's become a favorite. It goes on smoothly, and has great pigmentation. It lasts a long time, even longer if I set it with a similar shade in shadow. I use it as a liner or for shading along the lash lines.

Not bad at all!

I've used several mineral foundations; everything from Bare Minerals to el cheapo brands. This is by far my favorite (especially for the price). It's not too heavy or greasy at all. If I moisturize and prime first, it never fails to look great. It's not something I'd use in every occasion (especially not on super hot days), but if you're short on time (or just short on give a care), it's a great one to grab for. It evens the skin tone really well. It blends well onto my skin. Add a bit of concealer and you're good to go. Doesn't need to be set (unless you want it to last longer). Stays without transferring fairly well so long as you buff (or blend) into the skin really well.

LOVE!

Oh, how I love this stuff. If I could collect it in every color I would. So worth the price. It lasts forever and a day. It goes on so smooth without streaking. It dries relatively fast. It doesn't chip off easily, especially with a top coat. I LOVE their colors. Can't find their equal anywhere. This one is definitely a Must. Have.

Classic!

One of my top favorites. It lasts a really long time without chipping, especially if I've added a top coat. They've got a great variety of colors. It mixes well with other brands if I want to layer colors.

Love!

I love this stuff. It goes on like a gloss, and dries like a stain. Once I add the glossy balm over the top, I'm set for the day. The color does come off with time, but does it as a fade. I reapply some of the clear balm throughout the day and I'm usually fine for several hours. I had to learn not to use too much of the color though or it went on way too heavy and transferred off on everything. I'll usually put some on in the middle and blend it with my fingers, then let it dry a few minutes before applying the gloss. Once I've done that, it's set for the day.

I honestly don't like this stuff. It's really heavy. It doesn't look at all natural, and doesn't blend it well no matter what I'm using (brush, wet sponge, fingers, etc.). It was really looking forward to this one, but it's just a fail.
