Could be “bunny eyed”, could be beautiful

This shade is a medium pink base with a strong iridescent gold overlay. The only possible dupe I could think of is MAC Rose Pigment, MAC Rose Gold Pigment, or MAC Expensive Pink Eye Shadow. However, I love the texture of “X”. Like many other Urban Decay eye shadows, it has an incredibly buttery texture and applies like a dream on the lids.

The color itself is a hard one to pull off, so I love pairing it with deep grays for a nice contrast, black, and deep navy. I like applying it in small bits on the upper lid only. On my honey brown eyes, I have to wear strong eyeliner and lots of mascara to avoid the dreaded “bunny eyed” syndrome.

*********************** Urban Decay makes some of the best quality shadows on the market. They are creamy, smooth, pigmented, and have adorable “grungified” packaging! They are the same size as MAC eye shadows so they can be depotted into convenient 4-pan and 15-pan palettes. For $17, you pay for .05 oz of product which really isn't that much. It's at a pretty high cost per shadow, so you have to pick and choose the gem's of Urban Decay's eye shadow collection
